The paper researches the relationship among the parenting styles, socialself-efficacy and mental health on Inner Mongolia College Students. In thisstudy, using Mental health status scale (DASS),Social self-efficacy (SSES)and EMBU (PBI) as the research tool, selecting578undergraduate students offull-time undergraduate colleges of Inner Mongolia in Hohhot as the studysubjects, for testing the parenting styles, social self-efficacy and mentalhealth on college students. At the same time, the study uses the t test,theLeast significant difference method (LSD) and the method of regressionanalysis, exploring the relationship among the parenting styles, self-efficacyand mental health of college students in Inner Mongolia region deeply.The study results show that:1. The mental health status of college students in Inner Mongolia area,there are significant differences in terms of gender, and family economicstatus and the current academic performance significantly influence has onmental health of College Students.2. Parental rearing styles of college students have significant differencein sex, race, and family economic status has significant effect on parentalrearing patterns in Inner Mongolia region.3. Inner Mongolia university students’ social self-efficacy has significantdifferences in gender, nationality, and the current academic performance onsocial self-efficacy has a significant effect.4. Parental rearing styles of college students have a significant influenceon mental health in Inner Mongolia region.5. Inner Mongolia College Students’ social self-efficacy has a significantimpact on mental health.6. The college students have only their fathers’ overprotection andunderstanding having a very significant impact on self-efficacy of theparenting styles in Inner Mongolia region.7. Individual social self-efficacy is a mediator variable between parentalrearing styles and mental health.
