| Higher Professional education in China started in1980s, after decades of development,because China’s development of economy and the enhanced attention on it, throughcombination and upgrading, Higher Professional education has moved to maturity. In today’sHumanistic society tradition student management is no more suitable as rapid development ofHigher Professional education and the rapid process of globalization. To train qualified talentsclassroom education by full-time teachers is not sufficient due to factors such as studentquality, shock on view of life and Psychological stress under new situations and thus theimportance of student management in Higher Professional education. Effectiveness of studentmanagement thus became a major factor in improvement of ideological and politicaleducation, in testing moral education and cultivating the talented persons that meet the needof our society.Higher Professional education has gradually converged with international standards afterChina’s joined the WTO and has met more challenges. It is very important to pay moreattention to student management in higher professional education because it has significantacademic and realistic meaning in implement the party’s education course, improvement instudents’ literacy and improvement the level of education.Student management in higher professional education has direct effect on order ofteaching, campus culture and Learning Atmosphere in Colleges. Student management higher professional education must be improved and new countermeasures must be developed inorder to deal with new problems in new situations, improvement of its limitations. As ateacher in student management of higher professional education having found that currentpolicy in student management had fallen behind, I have found problems in studentmanagement and its countermeasures. This work will make contribution to buildingharmonious campuses and improvement of comprehensive competitive power of highervocational school.Utilizing methods of literature, interviewing and questionnaire, using western experiencefor reference, this study performed a research on teachers in charge of student management inShandong College of Tourism and Hospitality, considering common problems in studentmanagement in higher vocational colleges, discussed methods of student management in newsituation. This study offered measures and recommendations in problems as bad timeliness,vague delimitation of function in student management. This article has three parts: firstly,illustration of practical or immediate significance of student management; secondly, analysisof current situation, discovery of current situation through a study using interviewing andquestionnaire method on teacher of Shandong College of Tourism and Hospitality. Finally,suggestions on student management in higher vocational school were given. |
