Promulgation and implementation of new "National Ordinary College Sports CurriculumTeaching Instruction Summary" in2003symbolizes that our country sports programs of theordinary higher school education have got into a physical education curriculum reform era.New educational concept of sports optional courses in Colleges and universities puts forwardnew requirement in the process of teaching. How to use the proper teaching methods to activatestudents to participate in sports with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity, so as to inspire everystudent to participate in sport, improve the quality of physical teaching.All of these haveattracted widespread concerns of experts and scholars.This dissertation applies teaching method to female college students in volleyball optionalclass.The aim is to test feasibility and effectiveness of the teaching method in experiment.Through the university sports and women’s volleyball teaching using optimized teaching method,the main part is to improve the teaching quality of university women’s Volleyball and providetheoretical and practical reference for relative researches.This research mainly uses literature, questionnaire, teaching experiment and data analysisand logic analysis. Shandong Normal University undergraduate female volleyball optional classtake on the experimental object with36hours of teaching experiment, drawing the followingconclusions:(1) Stage teaching method applied to the Female University Students Volleyball OptionClass in the teaching content planned and targeted into teaching can fully activate every studentto participate in initiatively than the traditional teaching method,and is more beneficial to theenhancement of female college students.(2) Through volleyball technology teaching methods, stage teaching method is moreproductive in improving volleyball drill level of female college students.(3) Stage teaching method is beneficial to the improvement of college girl students’ lifelongphysical consciousness and enhance awareness of cooperation.(4) Stage teaching method is more conducive to stimulate the college female students inlearning motivation, interest in volleyball, confidence of volleyball learning.(5) Stage teaching method is practical for the teachers to teach students in accordance withtheir aptitude, and can stimulate learning initiative and creativity of the college femalestudents.Hence physical teacher could bring more attention to the individuals and give everyonethe same amount of supporting.(6) Stage teaching method is more flexible and comprehensive using the summativeevaluation, relative evaluation and combined evaluation.According to the conclusion above of the experimental study, some suggestions have beenput forward in the end of this dissertation. However, the experimental results is limited due to theexperiment time, conditions and other factors,then the experimental results are preliminary,therefore further related research yet need to be carried out.
