The higher occupation education is a kind of gradation and type of thehigher education in national education system. Be different from theundergraduate education which emphasizes the subjects, the higheroccupation education is on the basis of the occupation classification,according to some requirements of actual business activities ranges to trainthe first-line utility (occupation or applied) talented persons. In the process ofrapid development in recent years, the lack of knowledge of the higheroccupation education in society is mainly influenced by larger scale ofenrollment, the relatively poor teaching base and the lack of research on theteaching rule. Therefore,in the grim situation, it has important significance toresearch how to establish and optimize the students’ incentive mechanism ofhigher occupation education, arouse their enthusiasm and creativeness,taptheir potential and then improving the efficiency of higher occupationeducation.Firstly, the paper to comb the theory of Western integration, analysesconception,form and function of the incentive mechanism. By analysing thefactors affecting the incentive mechanism, discuss the function of incentivemechanism of the student management in higher occupation colleges.Secondly, based on the statistical results of interviews and questionnairesurvey, the paper analyses the status of the students’ incentive mechanism ofInner Mongolia Technical College of Construction,point out the mainproblems, and in-depth analysis the main reasons affecting the enthusiasm ofthe students.Finally, in view of the above analysis, contacting the actual situation ofstudent motivation, using the application of motivation theory, the paper putforward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions: to strengthen the construction of teachers’ morality and harmonious the relationship betweenteachers and students; to improve the basic work and create a stimulatingenvironment; to establish the opinion of "student-oriented" and follow the lawof development; to introduce the whole motivation and form a complete cycle;to establish the evaluation system and strengthen the incentive mechanism.Then provide the advice of the students’ mechanism optimization of higheroccupation colleges.Hope this paper can provide some ideas for the student managementworkers in higher occupation colleges.
