It is necessary for independent colleges to carry out and promote the bilingual education immediately, because it is not only the need of the times and the inevitable choice of higher education, but also an urgent requirement for students’ growth and success.Since entering the21st century, the international economic development by leaps and bounds, business and trade activities of economic globalization began to form. With the pace of China’s accession to the WTO and the opening up to the outside world has intensified, China and the world increasingly close cooperation and exchange affairs. All kinds of new talents of the world today, we must first overcome the difficulties, crossed language barriers, and English as an international language also plays a leading role in the world. The development trend of the internationalization of education also contributed to the countries in the world must make great efforts to train both fluent in English, but also have the skilled disciplines knowledge of high-quality compound bilingual professional and technical personnel. The bilingual education abroad began early in the last century, in the late development has been good teaching in many multilingual and monolingual countries.It is divided into four chapters:Chapter-1:Introduction.The author expatiated how the problem was raised, the purpose, plan, methods, and basic relevant research on Bilingual Education both domestic and abroad. After the sorting out of literature, the deficiency of the theoretical research has been advanced.Chapter-2:Case study of bilingual education in Chongqing Nanfang Translators College under Sichuan International Studies University.(1)the introduction of our college and bilingual education implemented there.(2)the confirmation of the questionnaire scope、the design of the questionnaire and putting them into practice.(3)the result and analysis of the questionnaire.Chapter-3:Based on the survey, the problem has been raised and reasons have been found.Chapter-4:The practical problems and the answers of practical difficulties.
