Family Harmony is a roof of everything.This is a good advice which our ancestors left us. Indeed, if a family is unity and harmony, the whole family will thrive.Families are better able to perform its social function.For family members, to maintain good family relations, is both a right and an obligation; is a request, but also a dedication.Under one roof, as large as the prosperity of the country, the harmony of society, as small as the personal life of happiness, the prosperity of the cause of,the health of the body, both rely on the basis of the harmonious family. Poor rural parent-child relationship affects the harmony of families, rural harmony and social harmony.The value of philosophy and methods of social work are worth for the improvement of the rural poor families out of poverty and parent-child relationship. It can be said that the problem of poor rural households is quite close with the parent-child relationship. Because of the social work is a discipline with application value and professional integrated. At the same time, it also take the means of helping others, the spirit of self-reliance with professional values, to solve all kinds of social problems, and to enhance the ability of the service object, to promote the improvement of the level of development of the whole society. Therefore, from the point of view of social work,using the knowledge and skills of the social work profession to solve the problem of adolescent parent-child relationship, has a unique advantage.In this study, we will take four representative rural poor families of Ruicheng County in ShanXi provience for example.Through questionnaires and depth interviews,Author understood the situation of parent-child relationship in poor families,and then operated the relationship into four dimensions:the evaluation of the parents to the children, the parents’perception of family status, children’evaluation of parents, children’feeling of family status. Analyze the factors that may affect the parent-child relationship of rural poor families,and on this basis,discussed the possibility of how social work intervention the parent-child relationship.Finally, put forward solving the rural parent-child relationship from the micro and macro levels. This study is not only committed to improving the economic conditions of the rural poor households, more important is to make positive efforts for rationalizing the parent-child relationship, in order to build a harmonious family, harmonious society.
