BWF has carried out a new “21-score”rule since2006. Therefore, the tactics shouldbe in accordance with the new rule. Athletes should skillfully implement strategies andtactics according to their own condition. The new rule promotes men single players to bemore positive, consecutive and stable while attacking. This thesis mainly takes literatureresearch approach, mathematical statistics approach, and video-record approach to analyze. The author selected18video records of men single players from Beijing Team in NationalTournament (team match). Hereinto, the author will focus on strategy statistics, on-the-spotguidance from coach and the feature of the tactics to analyze the men-single player fromBeijing team and their first three beats and their major way to score. The research includesfollowing contents:1、Under new rule, the world top men-single players mainly choose to serve net balland give the opponent no chance to smash. They serve the ball and directly to createchances of attacking for themselves. Statistics reveal that almost players from Beijing teamchoose net ball. The other serving tactics are rarely used. It shows that Beijing players’servings are up to the requirement of the new rule.2、The importance of service is, first, create chances for the following tactics; second, destroy the opponent’s service tactics. Under the former rules, chopping is the mostfrequent used tactic. Under the new rules, in order to reduce the pressure after service, receivers usually avoid servers’ net attacking through lifting or cross net curving. Statisticsshow that the most frequent used tactics among player in Beijing team is lifting and crossnet curving.3、The third bat is very important in keeping priority, making attack and get awayfrom passivity, in other words, to divert from passivity to passivity through cross netcurving, driving, and net game and smashing, or making a transition through these tactics. From the eighteen games of Beijing team, we can conclude that player can well seize theopportunity of the opponent’s not well service to launch an attack. Qiao Bing, for example, often gets rid of passivity through driving.4、Front court is the fiercest contested area in the game. Players usually use net gamein front court. Half of the Beijing players’ tactics have already transformed from originallypassively lifting and making defense to fight for net game positively. The other players stillinsist on the originally defense transition tactics.5、Middle court is an important area in transition tactics. Middle court tactics vary form players in Beijing team. Some players flexibly use driving and block shot to winpositivity on the court. Those who choose defense transition perform less.6、The world’s excellent players smash according to different situation in back court.Meanwhile they are endowed with strength, speed, explosive force and aggressivity. They reasonably use back court tactics according to their own skill and ability. Statisticsreveal that a few players choose smashing and controlling net game tactics to createadvantage in front court net game. The other players prefer dropping to wait for the nextattacking chance.7、Last the most frequent use tactic to win score is usually regarded as smashing.According to the statistics from Beijing game, Qiao Bing is an all-rounded player, andmakes use of all kinds of tactics flexibly with chopping, smashing and net blockingranking first three. In his ten matches, he got86scores through these tactics, and thescoring rate reached26.14%.A good men-single player who wants to win the match should make the passivitythrough service and the third shot and comprehensively use different kinds of tactics. Therefore, Beijing team should increase the first three shot training and the training of theability to launch an attack.
