Improving the effectiveness of life education can promotethe comprehensive development of college students, and enhance the value of life.In this paper, questionnaires and interviews for some students, teachers, counselors andpsychotherapists have been carry out in WTU. Main contents of the questionnaire andinterview are the status of the college students’ life view and life education implementation.From the questionnaires and interviews, it can be known some issues of life education inuniversities, such as: the vague goal, antiquated method, indifferent educators, passiveeducated and neglected environment.To improve the effectiveness of college life education, it must be clear a concept whichcalled people-oriented. It can be called. A correct goal is the prerequisite to improve the lifeeducation effectiveness. A explicit content is the key to improve the life educationeffectiveness. A good method is the assurance to improve the life education effectiveness.In summary, there are some ways to improve the effectiveness of life education. Firstly,students’ life education should be paid more attention and concern. Secondly, vectors of lifeeducation should be extended. The mental health education should be played an importantrole by the penetration of “Ideological and Political Theory Course†and other related courses.With teams and students associations, practical activities of life education can be carried out.Abundant forms of life education will improve the students’ interest of practical lifeeducation.
