Case Work Involved In The Research Of Growing Pains Of Teenagers In Every Generation Family

With the development of social economy, more accelerating rhythm ofhuman life, and the enhancement of self-fulfillment consciousness, thepression of survival and increased competition makes more and more youngparents have no time and energy to education their children, thereforethey had to take children to grandparents. Grand parenting has becomea "catalyst" with high-speed economic and social development at thisstage of a family education mode. As a kind of a form which is differentfrom the traditional family education pattern, Grand parenting has madenoticeable impact on more and more children. For grandparents themselves,there are some breeding troubles, such as the backward of education idea,the unsuitable of education mode, the inadequacy of ability of educationand so on. All these will directly affect the growth of children.Unreasonable education mode can lead to the generation of educated youthfall in the environment of emotional instability, strong rejectionfeeling, serious psychological behavior problems, and low securitydilemma, which directly or indirectly lead to family maladjustment andinterpersonal tensions, even "deviant" behavior.Social work is different from psychology, pedagogy, sociology andother disciplines of professional work ethic and work mode. It emphasison "win-win" concept in the process of service, and aims to excavate thepotential of director, integrate the resources of director, establishdirector’s support systems, and enhance director’s ability to solveproblem. The essences of social work are to help others to "self-help”.Case work, as one of the three methods of social work, improves the livesof egotism dilemma and the potential of egotism from the micro system.In the study the author, as a professional social worker, makeprofessional analyzes for grand parenting teenagers and their familiessystem, and in the process to a certain extent, has solved some problem on the growth of children. But growth troubles of teenagers are made bytheir own psychological factors and family, social environment. So inthe process of intervention, social workers must pay comprehensiveanalysis, and system solution.In the study the author, replied on his own real interview andexperience of involvement, and some arrangement of practical experiencesmade by other colleagues in grand parenting, make some professional share,and hope will have some helpful meaning to the social worker’sinvolvement in the generation’s growth trouble of Grand parenting.
