The Analysis And Research Of Successful Characteristics Of Special-grade Sports Teachers In Jiangsu Province

In June1999,《The Decision of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Deepening Educational Reform and Comprehensively Promoting Quality Education》 put forward that’The construction of high-quality teaching staffs is the basic guarantee of the comprehensive promotion of quality education’; In July2010,《The Outline of National Medium and Long-term Educational Reform and Development》 put forward that’Strive to create a high-quality professional teaching staff team with noble ethics, business skills, reasonable structures and full energy" Therefore, the construction of the high-quality teacher team plays an important role in improving the education quality of our country. Special-grade teachers stand for excellent teachers in the teaching staff. Since1978when Jiangsu Province began to select the first batch of special-grade teachers,11batches of the special-grade teachers had been selected by the end of2010. At present, there are25PE special-grade teachers in service, who play a leading role in the team of PE teaching staff and lead the teaching staff team of our province to develop in a better direction.Special-grade sports teachers are the models of PE teachers in Jiangsu Province. They must have something special on their way to success. To explore the difficulties and hardships on their way to success, actively seek the intrinsic quality for their success, analysis the relevant reasons and summarize the discipline of their successes, contribute to the growth of more young teachers. At the same time, it is of great significance to the development of the team of PE teachers.This paper making use of literature material, questionnaires, interviews and other methods, studies the successful characteristics of special-grade sports teachers in Jiangsu Province and finds that: 1.Constant pursuit of sports. Special-grade sports teachers in Jiangsu Province always work in the first line of sports teaching, constantly improve their degree levels and achieve great successes in their middle ages with persistent professional pursuits and hard learning attitudes. The average age of special-grade sports teachers achieving the title of’Special-grade Teacher’is42.27years old, while the average time of teaching is23.08years. Of them,23teachers improve their qualifications through self-study examination, correspondence course and so on. From the above information, we can see that one of the successful characteristics of special-grade sports teachers is long-time practice of physical teaching and constant improvement of self-quality.2.Good personalities. Strong interests in sports developed in their youths inspire them to work for sports for a long time. They all have strong will to overcome the difficulties during their work. Meanwhile, they are full of care and passion towards students, thinking for students’health in practical ways. All of these show their strong senses of responsibility.3.Correct concept of sports. Special-grade sports teachers in Jiangsu Province constantly updating their concept of education, have a good command of certain education theory and sports theoretical knowledge. What’s more, they all own relatively abundant practical experience. Good reading habit is the important way for them to update education concept. Also, they do well in applying theoretical knowledge into practice.4.Strong ability of controlling sports classes. During the process of sports teaching, they pay attention to their teaching appearances. They are good at reflecting after class to promote their professional growth. On top of that, they are qualified with ’expert in one thing and good at many’ sports skill and strong ability of doing sports scientific researches.5.Strong awareness and ability of innovation. The ability of innovation is the center characteristic of special-grade sports teachers on their way to success. First, they have innovation consciousness. Second, they are good at utilizing innovative thinking when solving problems. Third, they have formed their own teaching styles. Fourth, extracurricular sports work is also a stage for them to innovate.
