Since the PE teachers undertake such an important role, so we must attach important to their professional and make it to this direction.In this paper, the literature, questionnaire, statistics, expert interviews, logical analysis and other methods are used,which around physical education teachers’professional development standards in Hubei Province, it analysis the basic situation of Nine-year compulsory school physical education teachers in Hubei Province, the status of teacher Professional Development (professional awareness, knowledge, skills and professional competence), the situation of continual education and sports teachers in the training, and on this basis of discussion the way of PE teachers’professional development and influencing factors, and then propose development strategies and the conclusions, which can provide a favorable basis for the PE teachers’theoretical development and practical experience. The main conclusions of this paper are: ①The physical education teachers’ academic has up to Basic standard, but the lack of highly educated personnel,The physical teachers’educational levels in township and rural schools junior high school is relatively low male to female ratio is6:1.②Professional physical education teachers have a stronger sense, but a small part of the PE teacher’ professional attitude, professional values and professional experience are very low, but Some physical education teachers make the work only as a living mean or a task himself, they did not realize that the real responsibility and mission of the shoulders and the development of their own meaning, value, leading to professional awareness is not strong.③The physical education teachers’knowledge, skills are poor, in particular, mastery of the knowledge of Humanities and Social situation is not optimistic.
