In recently years, with the vigorously development of the China’s volunteer serviceenterprises which undergraduates are the backbone of it. The College Youth VolunteerService Group has achieved significantly progress in its work. College Youth Volunteerabroad has formed a relatively mature management pattern of its work due to its earlydevelopment on the contrary, China’s fledgling College Volunteer Service has a long wayto go.This essay takes the University of Anhui Agricultural as the study case to analyze thecurrent problems which lie in the development of the College Youth Volunteer’s activities,such as the insubstantial service which enjoy single form and can not ensured quality, ahigh wastage rate of the volunteer also loom large. We think the main reason is theinformal and imperfect of the management pattern of the College Youth Volunteer Activity.The unsound security system, organization system, communication and incentive systemunder the “letting oneself go” management pattern contributing to the cause of all theseproblems.As a result, I sincerely put forward a solution to grapple with all these problems. That isto establish a new management pattern of the College Youth Volunteer Activity. Amanagement pattern is highly effective and standard. Under the correct and standardguidance, as well as the scientific method of management, we can tremendously expandthe sphere, form and quality of the College Youth Volunteer Activity.The current management pattern in the China’s universities mainly focus on themanagement of the volunteer service,while at the same time overlook the management ofthe volunteer, which as a result dampen volunteer’s initiative and enthusiasm. A dualmanagement on the service and volunteer is preferred. A virtuous circle will be achieved ifvolunteers can get self-improvements through participating in the volunteer activities andmake the realization of its self values, in turn volunteers will carry out high quality, highstandard service in the volunteer activities. All guarantee a longer-term, faster, healthierdevelopment of the volunteer enterprises. In this paper, I use The University of Anhui Agricultural as the case study, combinedwith the current development situations in China’s universities of the College YouthVolunteer Activity. I also make a analysis of the feasibility and necessity of the preferredmodel after hands-on research and the study of management pattern in the “VolunteerDepartment” in The University of Anhui Agricultural. As a conclusion, I put forward aquasi-student union management pattern while on the other hand characterized with adeeper service spirit. Under this pattern, the resources of Youth Volunteer can be fullyused. Last but not least, I come up with “four principles” after make plans of thedevelopment philosophy in our College Youth Volunteer Work.
