Extra-curricular sports activities is the development of students ’physical fitness,to develop students’ independent innovation, and ability to adapt for the purpose ofstudents social opportunities for students to practice, to exercise the body and mind, ameans of teaching of the entertainment puzzle. If physical education teaching is thecore of the work of school sports, then extra-curricular physical activity is animportant part of school sports and physical education teaching, it is complementaryrelationship, therefore, the pursuit of extra-curricular sports activities and physicaleducation in bumper-effective implementation of National Institutes of Healthstandard shortcut. In this thesis, using questionnaires, documents and interviews withexperts WaFangDian City students receiving compulsory education and after-schoolextra-curricular sports activities, a substantial investigation to establish its impactfactor, doubts exist on the course of the investigation and problem in-depth analysisand interpretation, and further explore how to carry out extra-curricular sportsactivities and physical education aspects of measures to promote the effectiveimplementation of the sports the new curriculum standards, and appeal to families,schools, community to join hands and jointly to guide students to good developmentof lifelong physical behavior.The results are as follows:1. WaFangDian primary and secondary pairs of extra-curricular sports activitiesthe most basic needs are mainly reflected in the peer exchange and display themselvesin these two areas, sports values of an initial prototype.2. Students receiving compulsory education following the88%of the studentsand school can meet the national exercise standards.3. Primary school students in extracurricular sports activities motive is mainlyreflected in three aspects to increase contacts, personal interests and hobbies and toimprove constitution; the motivation of secondary school students in order to cope with the PE exam, give vent to their emotions and stress and improve physical fitness.4. Students in extracurricular sports activities on the consumer to buy sportsequipment, buy sports clothing and shoes and participate in sports remedial classes,the proportion of possession of material consumption.5. Place of extra-curricular sports activities is a neighborhood open space,together with the students the freedom of movement is the main form of WaFangDianCity school-age children to participate in extra-curricular sports activities, followedby activities with parents.6. Social factors in studying the idea of fame or fortune, social security, publicopinion, school factors, lack of venues and equipment, deviation of the concepts ofeducation, learning the behavior of the first conception of education and family sportsfamily factors, student factors in the popularity of the network factors affectingstudents’ extracurricular sports activities. Combination of internal and externalactivities proposed in this paper support of the government to secure funding forinputs and out-of-school sports activities, to build schools to "go out, please come in"open systems and other countermeasures.In this paper, the following recommendations:1. WaFangDian municipal governments and education authorities shouldincrease funding for sports work, fully implemented and to study the central spirit ofthe document on the7th, and positive publicity in the society and teachers toencourage businesses and schools to establish exchange platform, extracurricularsports activities to encourage enterprises to invest in campus and building the child’shome.2WaFangDian each sub-school of the City, should be fully integrated with theactual situation of the school to carry out extra-curricular sports activities andorganization of physical education teaching.3. Government should encourage schools and teachers to lay down the burden ofsafe, to enrich and expand the era of extra-curricular sports activities.4. Establishment of a "teachers, parents and society," three-dimensional Internetplatform for effective of these three forces together for the healthy growth of children.
