Research On Comparison Of Learning Strategies Of Motor Skill Between The Sports Professionals And Non-sports Professionals

This thesis studies the learning strategies of motor skills. In the study,191physical education majors and196students of other majors are asked to complete a questionnaire.Then the data collected is arranged and analyzed.Through the research, we can find the advantages and disadvantages of the learning strategies of the two kinds of students. Based on the data and the findings, some helpful motor skill learning strategies are provided to the disadvantaged groups. And the research comes out with the following results.1,As for the use of meta-cognitive strategies, resource management strategies and affective strategies,there are no significant differences between the sophomores and the first-year students of physical education major.2,The male physical education majors make better use of learning strategies of motor skills than female students.3,As for the non-sports majors, the sophomores are almost in the same level with the first-year students. And the latter have a distinct advantage.4, The female students of non-sports major are slightly better than male students in the aspects of the use of motor skill learning strategies.5.The sports majors have a distinct advantage over other majors in regard of retelling strategies, elaborative strategies, planning strategies,adjustment strategies,time management strategies, environmental management strategies and support strategies.6,Concerning the students of the same grade, the first-year students of the sports major and other majors are not quite different from each other on motor skill learning strategies.While as for the sophomores, the sports majors have a distinct advantage over other majors.7,With regard to the students of the same sex,male sports majors have a similar command of motor skill learning strategies to other male students.While for the female students, the sports majors are better..
