In the nineteen eighties after the implementation of reform and opening up30years, ourcountry’s elementary and middle school art education obtained great development, obtainedcertain result, is entering the peak period of development. With the impact of globalization, inthe field of education and all kinds of advanced modern teaching thoughts and teaching toolsinto the campus, the school in China art education teaching method, teaching content,teaching environment has undergone profound changes, in the fine arts teacher for many yearsthe common hard work, accumulated a large number of high-quality art education teachingresources. In recent years, according to media reports, the Chinese art education in theteaching materials, teaching methods, teachers’ quality and other aspects have been furtherimproved and developed, and the formation of Chinese fine art education environment and theatmosphere, has made satisfactory teaching results.But in the course of development will inevitably find various shortcomings anddeficiencies, when we see the huge education achievement while, also should understand thatour country elementary and middle school art education physique and methodologicaldeficiencies. I think at this stage of the biggest shortcoming is to a certain extent, ignored thetraditional Chinese art and culture in art education plays the position of its main performanceis: only attached to a single course to deepen research, and serious neglect the traditionalnational culture on students’ art and cultural accomplishments of deep administrative levels,more disregard for thousands of years of Chinese traditional culture inheritance anddevelopment of the art of accumulation, so that some students in Chinese art history andpeople refer to its development when speechless phenomenon meet the eye everywhere, not tomention China National Art in-depth understanding; from the fine arts major, many studentsto understand the extent of foreign art far over on our national calligraphy and painting,sculpture and architecture knowledge. At present, the art education in our country the maintarget in the completion of existing teaching plan, and does not focus on the students hands-onability, only pay attention to the teaching goals and tasks completed, will immediately see theteaching results and do not attach importance to our traditional art of students’ inner qualityinfluence character by environment influence, do this just spoil things by excessiveenthusiasm, a lot of specific teaching courses the content is not to do things carelessly, finearts teaching falls in real point, do not pay attention to the fine arts discipline characteristicteaching law, the mathematical and par, the can be lively and vivid art class become rigid andtedious, so students’ cultural quality cultivation can be no real ascension. In this case I thinkthere are several reasons: primarily foreign cultural influences. Throughout the decades ofdevelopment, open to the outside world in our art teaching from its country learned manyvaluable experience and teaching methods, in the artistic level are also to some extent toenhance the understanding of beauty, appreciate beauty consciousness, open field of vision,more attention to the fine arts education in the development of Ethnic Education in thehistorical responsibility and mission, but lost the National Fine Arts imperceptibly the development direction, weakening the traditional art and culture, even more is the nation witha long history of art treasures as defined as garbage and be far out in the history, so thattraditional cultural and national art inherited impossible. One is some of our educators ineducational thinking and way have some outstanding problems, argues that modern art is torely on the modernization of teaching means and undertake, promote the traditional nationalculture at the same time means are difficult to adapt to the modernization of teaching purpose,contrary to the teaching ideas; old things to guide Art class, art education is to follow thebeaten track. There are worse, in order to cope with the examination, some assault means ofunderstanding for art education is all about, and not to improve national quality, creation ofcomplete personality, deepen the artistic accomplishment as the fine arts teaching purpose, forChina’s such a big country with5000years of history it is now a fine arts teaching the realityof a kind of sad.In the new era, humanities education, national tradition, such as the type of educationmethods more and more place in current education before, how to carry out humanisticeducation, humanistic education from what development, where you come from, where to go,how will the humanistic education and combining art and so on this a series of problemsespecially in art education field between one night it seems that became a hot topic, it alsobecame a general art teachers’ problems plagued. When we are confused when we lookaround the world will find an interesting phenomenon in both developed and developingcountries in the development of Fine Arts in the process without all the national culture densebrushstroke, therefore the more we forward more to go back and find our ancestors to leave atrail, the national consciousness, national culture development to the field of fine artseducation, in teaching to achieve national cultural inheritance and development of nationalspirit, in history and modern development to find a perfect fit.
