Physical education is an important part of higher education, and the final stagesof the school PE, college physical education performance directly affects the students’social participation in sports, college students, is a relatively high stage ofself-learning ability, therefore, college sportswhether to achieve the goal of "health" atthe same time, so that students interested in one or two sports, and acquire therelevant skills, is a rigid test of the teaching quality indicators for the students form alifelong sport and to establish universalfitness awareness is of great significance.Taijiquan is a traditional Chinese project is a martial arts project, a soft, ethereal, slow martial arts. Because of their lower requirement on the learner’s own conditions, physical fitness, self-defense self-defense, but also cultivates the mind, buildscharacter and widely loved by the community. At the same time, the the Taijiquanchosen by the College Textbooks, simplified routines, to learn, easy to remember, easy to promote the characteristics have a positive impact on college students physicaland mental health. Therefore, many scholars working on how to improve theeffectiveness of Taijiquan Teaching and develop students’ exercise habits and life-longsports concept. Actively explore reform in many university sports educators, andimprove tai chi materials, teaching methods at the same time, along with in-depthstudy of goal orientation theory, as well as previous level of motivation level of thesports related to physical education teaching ability to achieve the desired resultsresearch, our eyes attracted to the goal orientation theory on the motivation ofstudents to sports. In a college physical education, sports motivation is to inspirestudents to enhance student learning of motor skills and the key factors involved inphysical exercise, and also to improve the learning outcomes important guarantee. The purpose of this paper is to study Taijiquan Teaching the use of goal theory is ableto stimulate the motivation of the student of Taijiquan, to improve teachingeffectiveness, and promote students to develop lifelong habits in Taijiquan. This research adopts the cultural heritage data method, questionnaire survey;expert interview method, the experiment contrast method; mathematics statisticsmethod and logic analyze the method, Goal Orientation Theory as a guide, Taijiquanteaching, the use of goal orientation theory, task-oriented goals of teaching andnon-task oriented goal of teaching for the control, the sport motivation scale as a tool to explore through experimental task orientationas the goal of teaching in theexcitation of internal motivation and external motivation of students in sports andhave no motivation, and the following conclusions:1. Taijiquan teaching, regardless of whether the goal orientation theory, themotivation of the student movement will increase, but the magnitude of theexperimental group movement of the task goal orientation theory of motivation toimprove is clearly higher than the control group did not use the task goal orientationtheory.2. In the Taijiqun instruction, goal orientation theory, the task goal orientationtheory to significantly improve students’ internal motivation level, and reduce thelevel of students without motivation, motivation tend to be more active.3. Taijiquan teaching goal orientation theory, the task goal orientation canenhance students’ extrinsic motivation, external motivation to improve the magnitudeof the control group improved large range, but in view of the substantial increase inexternal motivation may have a negative sport motivation, so you can justify the useof task goal orientation to optimize the students’ sport motivation.4. Mission objectives in goal orientation theory in the Taijiquan teaching directedto improve the motivation level of students’ movement, a strong interest in learning sothat students of Taijiquan, the launching of life-long sports.5. The task goal orientation, goal orientation theory in the Taijiquan teaching caneffectively improve students’ Taijiquan academically.
