One of the purposes to teach regional geography in secondary schools is to help studentsdevelop good cognitive structure. Geographical knowledge structure is formed on the basis ofthe cognitive structure of students. At the same time, human geography is one of theimportant branch of the system of geography, which is closely related to the nature geographyscience, builds up geographical science. So, teaching students to build good cognitivestructure of Human Geography section is particularly important." Therefore we can investigate if students have established agood cognitive structure.In addition, through the in-depth results of the survey analysis, teacher know the status ofstudents’ cognitive structure to compulsory II of Renmin Public. To explored the optimizationstrategy of the Middle School Regional Geography Teaching.In summary, this paper aims to study how to teach students human geography.Suggestions are made on the basic theory of geography instructional, up-to-date analysis, thebasic pattern and the basic essentials on the perspective of the regional human geographyteaching.
