Since the implementation of the new curriculum reform, a large number ofcurriculum reform and continuously push forward the development of qualityeducation, at the same time, emphasis on inquiry-based teaching, the quality ofeducation has been the attention of educators, information technology supportinquiry-based teaching by the majority of educator of all ages, multimedia and networktechnology will undoubtedly become the inquiry-based teaching model to theimplementation process of the most effective technical support.Thesis of Middle School physical optics for the study, exploration andinquiry-based teaching model in the information technology environment. First, in thecontext of the new curriculum reform, inquiry-based teaching research significance aswell as domestic and international status and trends are discussed, and summarized thelack of inquiry teaching. Through access to a large number of documents to sort out,from the basic theory, information technology and curriculum integration and inquiryteaching. Second, for exploring the issues to be considered in the teaching, the paperswere constructed inquiry-based teaching model and network environments in amultimedia environment, and physical optics instructional design case for the twomodes are designed for the implementation of the teaching model reference. Finally, toevaluate the teaching effectiveness of inquiry-based teaching model, the designevaluation gauges, then conducted a survey on the implementation of the teachingeffect, summarize, proposed the thinking and recommendations of teaching.Inquiry-based teaching model of Middle School built in the informationtechnology environment of physical, the need to verify in teaching practice, and thuscontinue to improve the model so that it can promote in Middle School physicsteaching.
