As the90s college students became the main body of the university, the ideological political education of the university targeted at the90s college students. The90s college students have their own distinct personalities. The new China had great change as they grew up. The reform and opening up brought people a lot of changes not only in ideas but also in values, and then influenced the90s college students. As a result, it is necessary to study the characteristic of90s college students which is vital to do the creative study in the ideological political education of the university. This paper can be divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, I introduced the character, out-look on life and values of90s college students. In the second chapter, I analyzed the main problems in the ideological political education of the university. In the third chapter. I gave some suggestions in the ideological political education of the university which can help us to create the teaching method, content, medium, etc. in the ideological political education of the university. In a word. I would try my best to find ways to help my colleagues cany on their jobs reasonably and want our college students to be both scientifically and politically literate according to study the90s college students.
