Analysis And Countermeasure Research Of The Farmer Basketball Games In The Process Of New Socialist Countryside Construction

In an effort to better promote the farmer basketball games and further acceleratethe new period of the farmer sports development， this paper applied literature,questionnaire, expert interviews, mathematical statistics, and logical analysis method toexplore the farmers basketball games current situation in the process of the socialismnew rural reconstruction advancement from the perspective of sociology and culture,and discuss the influence factors of farmers basketball games based on the statistics ofthe current farmers’ basketball situation. The research results showed that：1. The harmonious development of society, gradually increasing level of farmerculture and the integration of harmonious culture and social harmony have provided agood cultural background for the farmers’ basketball games development in the regionsof Suzhou,Wuxi, Changzhou. A good economic basis, the forefront level ofurbanization and a wealth of material life have provided the solid social economicinfrastructure for the popularity of the farmer basketball games in these regions.2. The farmers’ basketball games in the regions of Suzhou, Wuxi, and Changzhouhave a favorable mass base with a majority of male participants and less involvement offemale. The involvement ratio of basketball games increases with the education level,the occupation distribution is mainly students and farmers; the main pro-participatedfactors are basketball education in college and local basketball games influence, themain purposes of basketball games participation are fitness and entertainment.3. The basketball games in the Su-Xi-Chang regions are a spontaneous behaviorwithout organization, the frequency of participation has no regularity; the rural publicfacilities are abundant, but with a contradiction of insufficient courts in the relativeconcentrated fitness time; students mostly select the courts in the village schools, other participants play games in the public court of the village.4. The basketball competition in Su-Xi-Chang areas concentrated in traditionalfestivals and the slack seasons; the basketball games of the grass-roots organizations arebroad, well-guiding and well-managing; but basketball fitness activities have a shortageof funds, mostly raised by participants, the socialization of the basketball games in theseareas is looming up.5. The acknowledge of the grass-roots leaderships to the meaning and value of therural basketball games largely counts most, but the consistency of the importantcognition to the rural basketball games still has a long way to go. The social sportsinstructors in rural areas have good technical and theoretic foundation, but lack ofreferee level and passion which effect the improvement of the rural basketball games inthese areas.6. The basketball games in Su-Xi-Chang areas have following characteristics:broad, imbalance, seasonal selection, spontaneity, instability, growing diversity andincreasingly socializing.
