Swimming is a by the broad masses of people love the sport, with the continuousimprovement of people’s living standard, the health requirements are also rising, whiletheir aesthetic values is also quietly changing, such as most women are slim and thinfor beauty, but swimming is a can not only exercise, improve the body’s immuneability, but also because in the water swimming can consume a large amount of heat,so it can be in the imperceptibly in weight loss, so swimming is growing in popularity.While the breaststroke swimming technology in the most fundamental, is alsorelatively simple strokes, for beginners, to learn breaststroke is crucial.However, in the traditional breaststroke teaching initially more emphasis isplaced on the master of breaststroke technique, physical strength and special musclestrength training and is not very seriously. With the competitive swimming the intensedegree increasing, people gradually realize the importance of special strength training.But its strength training is only in the traditional strength training based ondifferentiation, such as Barbell Weight change. From on90time begin the century, thedeveloped countries in Europe and America some scholars realize that the traditionalstrength training can not meet the movement in an unstable state power demand, somany scholars recognize the importance of stability, put forward" core stability "concept, they believed, in the movement of the upper and lower extremities in all hermovements. Is a core zone of muscle strength for the fixed pivot, at the same timethese core areas of muscle strength to be able to coordinate the transfer of upper andlower extremity strength, so that the power to reach optimization, which can reducethe friction between the muscles, so that the entire movement overall achieved thehighest output efficiency.The main purpose of this thesis is through the practical teaching in theexperimental group students’ core strength training and the students in the controlgroup conventional strength training, students study on breaststroke teaching effect,so as to better serve the University Swimming Teaching and training services. This paper mainly uses the research methods are literature data method, expert interview,the experimental research method, logic analysis and other research methods, specificcontent, see below. In this paper, through a semester of teaching plan, the breaststrokecourse of students for the core strength training, after the end of the experimentthrough the experimental class and the control class comparison, draw the followingconclusions:1. The core strength training, students in the experimental group core strengthindex to be significantly better than the control group;2.The balance ability of experimental group is better than control group thancontrol group after the teaching experiment;3. Through the experiment, the students of experimental group are better than thecontrol group in the200m breaststroke test;4.The core strength training is the indispensable part of modern physical fitness,and it is the important supplement of traditional strength training.
