A Study On Ideological And Political Education In The Contemporary College Students’ Employment

In recent years, the number of the graduates of universities has increased year byyear due to the increased enrollment. According to the national college graduatesemployment work notice in2012issued by the Ministry of Education, the number of thenational college graduates has scaled up to6.8million people by2012. The collegestudents’ employment situation is not optimistic caused by the large amount of collegegraduates who want to find jobs, and the stagnant job market, with the addition of thepart graduates of improper thoughts of employment situations. This article tries toeducate college students in employment by the ideological and political education,hoping to improve the direction and promotion by the ideological and political education.Firstly, research the new changes in contemporary society and new request forcollege students’ employment. First it analyses the changes of the contemporary societyin science and technology, people’s life level, employment environment, the humanresource requirements, as well as changes in the professional types, through the newsocial changes it points out the new requirements on college students’ innovation ability,social flexibility, the establishment of job ambition as well as their own quality and futurecareer plan and other aspects. It briefly illustrates the great importance of ideological andpolitical education for college students’ employment according to “the four benefits”.Secondly, analysis the status and the existing causes of the problem of moderncollege students’ ideological and political education in employment. First it points outclearly the meaning, the guiding ideology, and foundational principles and theoreticalbasis of the contemporary college students’ employment ideological and politicaleducation. Then it analyses the achievements and problems of college students’ideological and political education in employment concretely. And last it concretelyresearches the causes of problems in contemporary ideological and political education ofuniversity students’ employment. And the analysis involves the following factors: thecollege students themselves, school education, social environment and their families.Finally, research the solutions and methods to the problems in contemporary collegestudents’ ideological and political education in employment. The three aspects are: improving the ideological and political quality of the contemporary college students inemployment; enhancing the entire career instructional ability of ideological and politicaleducation; expanding the carrier function in the ideological and political education ofcollege students’ employment through the power of the media.
