Analsis Of TV Educational Programs In Chinese

Getting message and learning knowledge through television is a wayof life, that spreads throughout the world widely. In this case, Chinesetelevision teaching has played a more and more important part ofteaching Chinese as a foreign language.“Growing up with Chinese”teaching program, with the objection of disseminating knowledge ofChinese culture，has broadcasted on CCTV-9English news channel,sinceAugust,2010. This paper is based on the study of “Growing up withChinese”, from the research of teaching content, teaching methods,teaching principles, and teaching features. At the same time, I have madea comparison between Chinese television teaching and class teaching,too.By means of the study of “Growing up with Chinese” above all, thispaper fully affirmed this program’s advantages for its outstandingfunction of Chinese language teaching. At the mean time, I find someproblems, such as teaching measures, and propose some suggestions. Thepurpose is to explore not only “Growing up with Chinese” program, butmaking of the entire Chinese television educational programs, to explorehow to enhance the dissemination of results of the Chinese television educational programs, and increase the influence of it worldwidely. I putforward some ideas for the future development of Chinese televisioneducational programs, hope these can make sence of Chinese televisioneducational programs. In order to keeping the progress of this program,and forge a bond of communication in the Chinese internationaleducation and cultural transmission ties.
