Current Situation And Countermeasures Of College Students’ Political Quality

China is the people’s democratic dictatorship of socialist state, and the politicalcivilization of socialist requires the sovereignty of the people who are the masters. Duringthe process of political civilization as the core of democratic politics and the country underthe rule of law, improving the quality of citizens’ political is a very important foundationwork. As the reform of political system pushed forward and depth constantly, the role ofpolitical quality in ordinary citizens is increasingly prominent in the social and political life.So the political quality of citizens has great significance for the development of socialistdemocratic politics, particularly, college students, as the future strength of the socialistconstruction, is very important. Because college students are the best groups of thecommunity, the reserve forces of the socialist construction, is the successor of the party andstate. The college students’ political quality is directly related to the direction of socialistdemocracy development, affecting the future development of our country. However, thenurture of political quality in college students is not regard as a part of strategy of politicaldemocratization. So, the study and the education, the theories and modes of operation on thepolitical quality of college students is becoming a series of urgent educational propositions.With the advance of the deepening of reform and modernization and the increasingly urgenttask of political modernization, political modernization can not be separated from thesupport of students’ political quality. Therefore, quantitative evaluating the college students’political quality timely can further strengthen and improve ideological and politicaleducation of college students that is far-reaching significance.The political quality of contemporary college students is mainstream positive, however,due to various factors, there are some deep-seated problems need to attach great importanceand worthy of further study. This article aims to understand and grasp the actual situation ofthe students ’political quality is located in the economically underdeveloped areas, throughempirical investigation and theoretical analysis political qualities students of ChengDeMedical College, and through the investigation of this situation, analyze the factors thataffect students’ political quality formation, and the characteristics of students of ChengDe Medical College, proposed to guide students to develop the quality of the correct politicalideas, put forward a number of educational countermeasures to promote the relevance andeffectiveness of the ideological and political education.This article is divided into five parts, an introduction, an overview of the students’political quality in ChengDe Medical College, the status and analysis of political quality,strengthen cultivate of the political quality of the students by ideological and politicaleducation, and the conclusions. Each part are outlined as follows:The first part is an introduction to introduce the ideas and methods of the researchsituation, the significance of the study and research.The second part illustrates an overview of students’ political quality. Political quality ofthe citizens to engage in political activity requires a subjective political capacity, includingpolitical awareness, political attitudes, political participation and other factors. The politicalquality of the citizens of a country’s degree of political civilization and social progress andstatus of refraction, and improve the quality of civil and political is the inevitablerequirement of socialist democracy and political development, but also the essential elementsof building a moderately prosperous society in China. College is a critical period, theformation of political socialization while the young students’ political quality graduallyformed and mature. It is the objective requirements of a socialist country materialcivilization development, but also an urgent requirement to advance the process of socialistpolitical civilization that the students cultivate of correct political quality, which requirescolleges and universities to strengthen and improve ideological and political education,provide a solid cultural foundation for the healthy growth of young college students, acomprehensive development and safeguard national and social stability.The third part studies and analyzes the current state of political quality of students inChengDe Medical College from the three levels of basic political knowledge, politicalattitudes, political participation as citizens. On the basis of statistics and analysis of materialobtained through questionnaires and individual interviews, the writer concludes: Mainstreamof the quality of students’ political status is good. In the level of political knowledge, thestudents are with some citizens understanding and basic civic knowledge, acquire a certainamount of political knowledge; in the level of political attitudes, the students are with a strong willingness of independent political thinking and rational thinking, they have a certaindegree of political enthusiasm and the mainstream of political value orientation is positive;in the levels of participation in politics, there is some sense of participation and apply theappropriate way to participate in daily activities. However,, there are some deep-seatedproblems in the students of ChengDe Medical College, such as political knowledge is knownbut the level is limited, political attitude is positive but enthusiasm needs to be improved,political participation and enthusiasm exists but there is a disconnect in the development ofdemocratic politics.The fourth part analysis the factors during the formation of students’ political qualitybased on the student survey results. The factors are including the ideological and politicaleducation, the social environment and the family analysis. It is needed to improve the levelof ideological and political lessons to cultivate students’ political quality, improve the socialenvironment to promote the development of college students’ political quality, influence theformation of the basic political quality through family effectively.The fifth part is finding the countermeasures about how to effectively guide students tothe formation correct and solid political quality combined with the findings. Firstly, updatethe concept and accord to the characteristics of a new era of college students to strengthenand improve ideological and political education. Secondly, keep up with the times and shapea new university campus culture to enhance the campus political atmosphere. Thirdly,expand the platform and enhance the political quality of university students through highlyeffective social practice.The sixth part is the conclusions.
