Along with the deepening of reform and opening up, people’s vision is gradually openedand a variety of educational ideas pour into China. All the countries in the world also arewarmly carrying out an education reform, so what path should Chinese education follow? Thenew round of curriculum reform is born out in such a background, people hope that throughthe new curriculum reform, we can improve constantly the competition strength of our talent.And all that depends on the teachers’ professional quality. The new concept and the new ideasof the curriculum reform bring forward higher requirements and challenges for teachers.Confront such challenges, history teachers should constantly examine their ownprofessional knowledge system, improve their own professional affection and skills, and makeup for their professional shortages targeted. While now the high school history teachers lackof teaching philosophy and professional skills, meanwhile the knowledge system is notperfect and the working enthusiasm is not high, all these seriously affect the advancing of thereformation of new history curriculum, so the level of history teachers’ professional qualityhas become an key issue for the success or failure of curriculum reform in China.This article starts from the structure of the professional quality in high school historyteacher, they are professional knowledge、professional skills and professional affection,meanwhile according to the new concept of the history of the new curriculum reform,summarizes the requirements of the new curriculum reform on the professional quality ofhigh school history teachers, combines with my internship experience and interview surveyson the teachers in the internship school, analyzes the current situation of high school teacher’sprofessional qualities and the causes of the current situation, at last, for the existing problems,put forward the corresponding improvement measures, including teachers subjectiveimprovement and teachers’ external growth environment support.First part of the paper focuses on the related research of a high school history teachers’professional quality. The second part of the paper analyzes the structure of teachers’professional quality. The third part summarizes the requirements of the new curriculumreform on the high school history teachers’ professional quality. The fourth part analyzes thecurrent situation of high school history teachers’ professional quality and the cause of the current situation. The fifth part discusses the measures of improving the high school teachers’professional quality. |
