Teachers’ practical knowledge transfer,which is an important part of teachers’practical knowledge. Teachers’ practical knowledge is not only the intellectualresources in which teachers engage, but its richness and operations determine theirprofessional level. Meanwhile, the acquisition of teachers’ practical knowledgetransfer is an essencial way to promote their professional development.This article explores the ways and modes by which teachers’ practical knowledgecan be effectively passed to others and which their personalized (not universal)knowledge turns into common one.(can be extended). It also focuses on theconstruction of practical knowledge transfer strategies.This study concentrates on the following three aspects:To begin with, this paper introduces the connotation and research results. In thispart the contents related to teachers’ practical knowledge is clarified including theconcept, characteristics and current status etc. In addition, a brief introduction onstudy of teachers’ practical knowledge done by scholars from various countries andChina is made, which lays the groundwork for elaboration of the practical knowledgetransfer.In the second part, based on the research at home and abroad, the paper infers theways and modes of teachers’ practical knowledge transfer, namely how the individualteacher’s tacit knowledge can be passed or shared. The process consists of twodimensions: on the one hand, the tacit knowledge of others is translated directly intotheir own. On the other hand, the tacit knowledge turns into explicit knowledge,which can be imitated and learned, eventually internalized into their owns.The third aspect of the paper discusses the construction of practical knowledgetransfer strategies. These strategies ensure the transfer process more standardized,promote the delivery more effective and make the teaching activities more instructive. |
