Educational technology ability has become an important measure of teacher professional quality. Pre-service teachers are for future. Thus, the level of educational technology ability of pre-service teachers will be related to the growth of future students and the overall educational progress.The course of modern educational technology is an important way to cultivate educational technology ability of pre-service teachers. Consequently, the study is based on the course of modern educational technology, to seek a new idea-work scenario activity design, so as to avoid course contents out of step with the future work scenario, to strengthen consistency between majors and the future work of pre-service teachers and to stimulate the internal driving force of pre-service teachers. The work scenario activity design is application-oriented, and intends to prepare for pre-service teachers in the future work scenario.In order to improve the practicality and relevance of the research, the study chooses pre-service teachers of English major as object of study. And the work scenario in the study refers to scenarios of English classrooms in primary and secondary school. Based on the literature, the study defines the concept and description of "work scenario activity design" Secondly, the study analyzes the work scenarios of tutorial classrooms and exploratory classrooms, which are two typical forms of English classrooms of primary and secondary school. The study adopts quantitative analysis to tutorial classrooms, qualitative analysis to exploratory classrooms. Thirdly, from the view of activity theory and experiential learning theory, the study constructs the design model of work scenario activity, including activity design and implement. Activity design consists of determining the activity objectives, designing the activity tasks, selecting activities forms and media materials, and developing activity rules. The implementation of activities consists of four phases:experience the work scenario, observe and reflect the work scenario, abstract and generalize, act and apply into practices. Finally, in view of the specific application-oriented, taking "Access to information resources" as a case, the study reviews and analyzes problems in the classroom, and then improve the case from the perspective of the design model of work scenario activity.The whole activity revolves around the work scenario. The pre-service teachers experience the work scenario, and then analyze problems such as the education technology in the work scenario, the implementation method and how to refine the work scenario, and engage in a series of activities so as to acquire, digest and apply the knowledge to practice. The design model of work scenario activity is application-oriented, which is helpful for pre-service teachers to appreciate the practicality of the knowledge, to understand the teaching problem situations, to know what strategies and tools help to solve problems in a particular context, to realize the media teaching materials applicable to the situation.In short, the design model of work scenario activity in the course of modern education technology, is conducive to pre-service teachers to understand educational technology in particular work scenario, to enjoy the classroom activities instead of abstract theory, to experience vivid cases instead of boring listening, to apply initially instead of complete the task passively. Only in this way, can pre-service teachers give fall play to their subjective initiative, and thus to acquire knowledge and accumulate experiences for future work.
