All-round development of human being is the ideal goal of the human society and thecall of the human civilization. Without education, it is impossible to realize the man’soverall development. As an important part of the education, family education is alsoimportant to the man’s overall development. With the development of the humancivilization, people pay more attention to the man’s overall development and value thefamily education’s function in the man’s overall development. Therefore, it becomes ourconcerns and the focus of the study that promoting the man’s overall development with thescientific family education.In the paper, it firstly pointed out that the man’s overall development of Marxism isthe ultimate theory of family education and expounded the family education’s importantsignificance to man’s overall development from different aspects, including human’smoral development, physical and psychological development, individual characterdevelopment, creative ability and interpersonal relationship development and so on.Secondly, according to the China’s family education current situation, it pointed out thatman’s one-sided development is the main problem of current family education. Theproblems of current family education mainly include utilitarian and parochial familyeducation concept, unilateral family education content, old family education method andlow quality of some parents. These problems lead to man’s one-sided development andhave bad effect on man’s overall development. Finally, according to the requirement of theman’s overall development, it combined the current family education situation in Chinaand proposed that scientific family education is the important ways to promote the man’soverall development. In particular, to development scientific family education, peopleshould update the concept of family education, change the content of family education,improve the method of family education and constantly improve the quality of parents. Ithopes that the study can have positive effect on the family education and finally promotethe man’s overall development through continuous effort and exploration. In the paper, it adopted literature research method in the exordium part and useddiscipline-crossing method in the text. It combined theory and practice together to explorethe related theory of the scientific family education so that to a certain extent it canprovide the corresponding theoretical basis for the current family education and finallypromote the man’s overall development.
