For a long time, the traditional teaching approach is focused on the college students’ ideological and political education, disregarding their proper requests and ignoring their personality, which is incompatible with their all-around development, and hence hinders the cultivation of innovative talents. It is inevitable to reform the traditional ideological and political education to develop the students fully. The students’ personality is pragmatically important to achieve their full growth.Under the guidance of Marxist Theory and the man-oriented principle, the thesis sorts out the existing problems and constraining factors of the students’ full development and personality development by theoretically and practically analyzing the current situations and characteristics of the college students’ personality development in University XX. On such analysis, the thesis puts forward the full development strategies by adhering to the principles of subjectivity, versatility, tolerance, democracy and heurism as well as man-oriented concept, by bringing public opinions and policy guidance into full play, and by improving the education with right education methods and reinforcement of the students’ self-regulation. From the perspective of man’s full development, the thesis proposes the trinity education system of the college, the family and the society to cultivate all-around and innovative talents.
