This article deals with how to teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Itbegins with the analysis of increasing number of mathematics underachievers underthe background of the new curriculum. The research is based on the characteristics ofthe local grade two students who choose physics and biology as their selectivesubjects. It analyzes the factors contributing to the difficulties the slow students havebased on the self-analysis of the students. The sample class is the specific class thathas been taught for more than one year. The research focuses on four typical studentswithin a semester, with the contrast of their school records. Each of their tests is to betrack analyzed in the form of class analysis, case analysis, the first self reflection aftertest, self correction and self reflection after correction. This research is aimed to offerpractical and effective reference to students with the same problem.
