As the social cognition enhancing, the focus of school education turns tocultivation of learning ability, creative ability and cooperative ability from theconventional passing of knowledge and skills. University is the final stage beforestudents moving toward society, and higher education has a very important impact onthe students into society. So, higher education should be closely connected with thesociety and enable students to adapt to society as soon as possible. Physical educationand health curriculum standards emphases the teacher respecting, the selectivity ofteaching content and the diversity of evaluation of education content, thus to make thecurriculum help to stimulate students’ interest in sport, to help students develop thehabit of physical exercise and develop the indomitable and courage will, promotingthe healthy and harmonious development of students in physical, mental and theability of social adaptation, and ultimate to improve the overall health of the nation.Therefore, teacher should first enhance learning, change concepts, explore bravelyand strive for the optimal target of class teaching in order to promote the healthy andharmonious development of students’ ability of social adaptation.Cooperative learning is a teaching form, and meantime the cooperative learningprocess is a process of students’ self-education and of learning to communicate andget along with people. Meanwhile, the development of cooperative competency is ofgrate sense to the development of students’ cooperative sense, enterprise’s team spirit,democratic spirit, sense of personal responsibility and the formation of personality,and is also the basic connotation of social adaptation in new curriculum.In this research work,63students in two public physical classes in NorthwestUniversity for Nationalities2009were investigated with literature method,questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, teachingexperimentation method. In this experimental process, pre-test and post-test werecarried out in students’ cooperation consciousness, feeling, initiative and cooperativecommunication and so on, and the difference comparative analysis was employedover all these above aspects. The experiment validates that the cooperative learning is more effective than traditional teaching in public volleyball teaching, and thefollowing conclusions were obtained by statistics the date acquired in the experiment.1. Cooperative learning teaching is in favor of cultivating the students’cooperation consciousness, feeling, enthusiasm and cooperative competency.2. Cooperative learning is in favor of the improvement of student volleyballspecial technical achievements, and can also develop students’ cooperation enthusiasmand cooperative communication.3. Cooperative learning teaching class can effectively promote the developmentof the principal part of student and cultivate the students’ responsibility andcooperative ability.
