| Mathematics teaching in secondary vocational schools aims to develop students’ basic computing abilities, number and shape abilities as well, cultivate students’ spatial imagination abilities, and guide students to grasp the needed mathematics in their coming practical career. Nevertheless, in mathematics teaching progress, today’s development of in-class mathematics teaching has been long-term restricted by the traditional in-class teaching models to some extent. Under the traditional models are outdated teaching methods, monotonous teaching methods and abstract teaching contents as well, all of which are far away from meeting the needs of today’s vocational students. How to solve the arising problems in today’s in-class mathematics teaching effectively, how to meet the practical needs of today’s students, and how to optimize the structures of in-class teaching and improve the teaching efficiency, are all the goals as well as the starting point of my experimental teaching designing project. In my study on the efficiency of the computer technology aiding mathematics teaching, I have clear experimental purposes as well as experiment carrying-on program and strategies, and then illustrate the actual teaching situation in Dongguan vocational technical school, analyze the students’ study psychology as well as the efficiency of the experiment, in which computer technology was used in mathematics teaching. At last, I drew the conclusion that the proper implementation of computer aiding in mathematics teaching is one of the ways to achieve the optimizing mathematics teaching process. This paper consists of six chapters. Chapter1reviews my research background, contents and ideas. Chapter2outlines the concept of computer aiding mathematics teaching, the basic models and the analysis of students’ study psychological situation in vocational school. Chapter3illustrates the basic principles and progress of my experimental teaching design. Chapter4talks about the organization and the carrying-out of my experimental teaching designing. Chapter5includes the detailed experimental teaching designing, explores the implementation of computer aiding mathematics teaching, analyzes the experimental data and material as well, draws the following conclusions: computer-aided mathematics teaching is effective, can meet the goals of cultivating students’ innovative spirit, practical ability, developing the students’lifelong learning abilities. Chapter6is the summary of my whole study. |
