With the rapid development of the Internet information technology, the accelerationprocess of university informationization and the improvement of the campus accession to thenetwork, the usage and demand of college students towards internet become more and morepopular. Network has become an essential part of college students’ daily life. The newlifestyle of the internet era has a profound influence on the contemporary college student’scognition, emotion, ideology and psychology. As it known to all, network is a double-edgedsword, it changes the lifestyle of students and improves their learning efficiency, and it alsobrings new ways and opportunities to the university’s moral education, but at the same timeunprecedented challenges appears. On one hand, network plays an essential role in collegestudent’s entertainment part and becomes a useful tool in their daily study. But on the otherhand, excessive addiction and dependence on the network have a serious effect on collegestudents’ study and daily life. Nowadays college students have become the backbone of theonline games, some of them are addicted to the network and playing network games, this notonly wastes money but also destroys their studies. College students’ addiction to theinternet has become a highlighted social problem; it caused extensive attention of the wholesociety. For ideological and political education workers, it is urgent to guide the students touse the internet properly and help them to overcome the psychology of internet dependency.Therefore to eliminate the mental disease of student’s indulgence in the network games hasbecome an important task; actually this also needs the support and joint effort from thesociety, family, colleges and students themselves.According to the different application of college students’ addiction to the network, itcan be divided into three types: network games addiction(network entertainment), chattingand making friends addiction (network contact);information collection type. Then byinvestigating and studying the addicted students, analyses the students’ psychology, theapplication of the network and the features of the university the society, we can find out theroot reasons for different types. Once understanding the mental characters and addiction typesof the students, educators can take different measures to different types. At the same time the educators can guide the students to solve their own psychological problems and help them todeal with relationships between two worlds(the real word and the fictive world)and thestudents themselves can also feel the true difference between the two worlds so that they canmake full use of the adequate internet recourses. When the students face psychologicalconfliction they can make a reasonable judgment and choice so that taking sensible andefferent methods. Then they will not let off all their emotions and desires to the fictive worldwhich will finally lead to the addiction. Until this they students can make mental adjustmentso that they can be the owner of the network and they will not be used by the network, on thecontrary, on the internet they can study efficiently and mange themselves effectively. Untilthis the students can correctly distinguish the fictive world and the real world, and get rid ofthe fictive net world and return to the normal daily life.
