Research On The Sustainable Development Of Students Community In Science And Engineering College

The college students’community is the second class of majority young students’studying life, is the effective way of improving college students’ comprehensive quality and ability, also is the important positions to carry out the work of college students’ideological and political education. College Students’community with its characteristics of spontaneous, extensiveness, consistency, sociality, innovation and diversity, help the broad masses of young students together, to stimulate their patriotism and love school feelings, carry forward the spirit of collectivism, expand the students’quality, to establish a correct outlook on life, value view by taking part in community activities and to encourage them to make progress and march forward confidence courageously.With the development of higher education in China, the college students’ community is playing in a more and more important role of culturing human growth. So the construction of college students’community has been highly valued, especially in the new century for the past ten years, college community has made great achievements, with the clear guiding ideology and the further development ways. At the same time, community in development also exposed some problems and shortcomings. Such as student community management system is not perfect, the activity content quality is not high, member quality is uneven, some good and some bad, lack of infrastructure, etc. Therefore, it has the important practical significance to know the existing problems of development in current college students’community, to explore the new method of development to maintain the healthy and sustainable development.This paper elaborates the college community concept, characteristic and function. Through the investigation and study, discussed the development of College Students’associations present situation and main problem; from the three aspects of the community college students the main problems are analyzed, namely the community college students lack the theoretical guidance, college students lack of long-term development program, students participate in community with utilitarian. Based on the analysis of these reasons, put forward the building of university student societies:an effective way to improve college students’Association first management system; second to strengthen the college community ideological and political education work for college students; third backbone training; fourth to strengthen college students’ community infrastructure construction four aspects to realize sustainable development of college students associations.
