With the development of computer technology, multimedia technology and communications technology, virtual reality technology has been used widely in defense, tourism, education and other aspects of applications. The virtual reality makes users to feel a sense of being in realistic scene with a number of sensing equipment through computer technology, sensor technology, multimedia technology. Virtual reality technology is also widely used in education. Through virtual reality technology the content of textbooks is easier to understand and the efficiency of learning for student is improved. It becomes more common to watch three-dimensional virtual reality scenes through mobile terminal as mobile Internet technology develops, but due to large data amount of3D virtual and poor configuration of the mobile hardware, it will be difficult to render3D virtual scene, so it is proposed to optimize virtual scenes first and then render at mobile client to make watching smooth. For the optimization of the virtual three-dimensional scene, there are front-end optimization and back-end optimization, front-end optimization means optimizing three-dimensional scene at the server side first, and back-end optimization means optimizing while rendering at mobile terminals. Semantic optimization proposed in this paper refers to the front-end optimization.Semantic optimization means set up semantic model through virtual three-dimensional scene, and then set up semantic rules based on the set semantic model, use basic optimization method in the semantic rules, and user can select one or more optimization rules to conduct optimization through the optimization program interface.
