| To carry out education informationization, China is widely implementingmodern distance education project in rural primary and secondary schools. With thedevelopment of the project, teachers’ and school administrators’ information technologytheoretical level and their actual operational ability will directly influence the effect of theapplication of educational information resources. Thus, making all the teachers master theability of information collection, processing, integration and application has become atrend and is crucial to the development of education informatization.What difficulties or problems do primary and secondary school teachers have whenmaking use of network curriculum resources? What training should be conducted withsuch teachers? The author finds out that the existing literatures reveals two categories: Oneis extensive investigation, summarizing the existing problems in the training, the other is topropose improving strategies based on an analysis of the problems. But there are notenough researches into the practicality of training content and the restricting factors oftraining sofewares and/or hardwares. Their research content is not specific enough, and theproposed strategies are not very applicable. In this context, the study is mainly about theexploration and practice of instructional design and website development. The subject ofthis study is the rural primary and secondary school teachers from the F county.The research process includes research on target learners, the content system, thedesign and development of website and the implementation and evaluation of the website.The content and website design of the study are based on the learners’ characteristics andneeds analysis, therefore, the research findings can be applied in a wider scale. |
