People who participate in gas volleyball in Jinhua City are mainly middle-aged poeple, youngsters joining the gas volleyball will improve the competitive nature of it; the participation motivations of the participators are mainly recreational and physical fitness, and the fitness awareness among the masses is high; participants have high level of education, most of them have the college degree or above, correctly understand the positive role of gas volleyball; participants involve more than five times in a week, each event in more than one hour, participate actively; the ways of participation are mostly competition and game.Second, the present situation of venues and facilities. The venue of gas volleyball in Jinhua City is mainly distributed in urban areas, schools and streets, which the venue of the town is small, the enthusiasts in the town lack the venue; the specialized gas volleyball venues are less, the most sites of which are transformed from the hard volleyball and badminton venue; the utilization level of schools and street venues is not high; the main sources of gas volleyball equipment are bought by participants themselves, less sponsored by small enterprises and government, which is not conducive to the development and popularization of the gas volleyball.Third, the present situation of organization and management of competition. There are less referee training activities of gas volleyball in Jinhua City, only a small number of participants join in the regular referee training of gas volleyball, which cause the problem that the participants do not know enough about the gas volleyball rules; the match funding of gas volleyball is manly raised by participants, less sponsored by small enterprises and government; the organization of gas volleyball activities are mainly in the form of self-organized, less organization of the sports administration department, so the movement can not carry out systematically; the rule versions of gas volleyball game are not perfect, there is no uniform and authoritative rules.Through the analysis of the present situation of gas volleyball in Jinhua City, the thesis sums up the factors that affect the promotion of gas volleyball:First, subjective factors, the initiative participation of participants. The advantage of promoting the gas volleyball in Jinhua City is that participants are in the high awareness, the masses are the main body of participating the gas volleyball, only by improving people’s awareness of participating the gas volleyball can active participation of it becomes possible, especially the middle-aged, who have regarded gas volleyball as one of the main leisure activities, own high participation enthusiasm, and have formed a good habit of exercise.Second, objective factors, namely, the gas volleyball venues and equipments, sources of funding and other factors, these are the basis elements of carrying out the gas volleyball. With the rapid economic development in Jinhua City, the venues and equipments and other hardware of the gas volleyball activities develop effectively, but still can not meet the needs of the masses, like sources of funding, because the way of activities is mostly self-organized, funding of the activities are mainly raised by the participants, which reveals the government’s effort to support the activities is not enough.
