High School Mathematics Experiment Teaching Practice Research

The reform in advanced mathematics leads to mathematicsexperiment， it is widely agreed that it is necessary to set upmathematics experiment in universities. Therefore in the high school,mathematics experiments will certainly have a great influence on highschool education reform.Mathematics experiment is becoming the leading trend of thefuture. It not only changes teaching patterns, but also changes thelearning patterns o f the students. Developing “mathematicsexperiment” effectively and properly helps the students understand thebasic mathematics knowledge. What’s more, it helps them to enhancetheir interest in learning mathematics, cultivate their virtue ofexploration and encourage them to develop their thinking ability topractice, analyze and solve a problem. In addition, it’s also a teachingmethod which is well worth introducing to the new curriculum teaching.The essay first set forth the background of the problems and theresearching condition of the experimental teaching of math home andabroad. On the basis of theoretical research of the math experiments, ittells what the experimental mathematics classes in high schools reallyare, how they are divided and what kind of teaching mode theybelong to. Besides that, it also discusses the necessity of having this kindof mathematics classes in high school.During the study, a research has been done among themathematics teachers in different schools in order to find out thedifficulties we face while carrying out the mathematical experiment.This paper also cites the cases of TI calculators and uses differentsoftware to carry out different mathematics experiment. Throughstudying the cases, this paper makes an analysis on mathematicsexperiment teaching in senior high school and studying for experiment teaching eases. Finally, the summary on theoretical and practical studymentioned above is made and reflections and suggestions are putforward.
