Art education plays a vital role in the children’s comprehensive and harmonious psychological and physical development. Art education not only enables children to possess capability of affection, understanding, expression, appreciation and creativity, but also nurtures their disposition and enhances mentality, contributing to the well balance and coordination among different aspects, which leads to the improvement of personal quality and sound development of their personality. Recently, children art education has made great progress in terms of theoretical study as well as practice. However, during the practice of art education, it has demonstrated some problems such as the tedium of teaching content, the lack of interaction of teaching method and the narrowing as well as the shortage of humanization of teaching goals.With the advancement of modern technology, people’s study and life has made tremendous changes. Modern technology not only improves teaching technique, but also affords us much more abundant teaching resources. Thus the children’s education embodied with animation has enriching continuously. Compared with the traditional supporter in kindergarten art education, animation boosts outstanding overall education function. Animation possesses unparalleled edge in terms of education function. Animation fully demonstrates the highlight of aesthetic education through the flexible forms of performance, vivid audio and visual experience and highly effective education result. The aim of the study is to enrich the insight into the theory of kindergarten art education. In practice, animation can be creative in the concept, content and method of kindergarten art education due to its unique property.The paper uses several research methods such as interview, experiment, observation and document, aiming to deal with the existing problems in kindergarten art education, followed by the analysis of the trait of animation art and its education function, accompanied by the theoretical evidence based on the application of animation into kindergarten art education, thus proposing the perception of utilizing animation elements in kindergarten art education, which can improve the teaching efficiency, enriching teaching methodology, supplementing teaching content. Finally, the author tried to explore some practical strategies on the basis of experiment study. The results are as follows:The first part mainly includes the analysis of the significance of the issue, intending to illustrate the problem through teaching aim, teaching content, teaching method, and defining each concept, coupled with the research method, thus proposing the origin of the issue.The second part is about the study of optimization of learning process, enhancement of learning efficiency, nurturing of creative mentality and cultivating one’s morals and sentiment on the basis of animation character, that is, highly comprehensive, exaggerated imagination, humorous amusement. On top of that, the author explores the issue from the fields of psychology, brain science, and education, therefore laying a solid foundation for the paper.The third part is about the study of impact of animation toward children song lyrics, and the study about the influence of animation toward children art creativity. Based on the first and second part, the author proposes people oriented and all round development principle. This paper tries to explore the specific implementation strategies about the application of animation into practical teaching through diverse aspects, namely, teaching content, teaching technique, teaching method and teaching surroundings. Meanwhile, it is noticeable that teaching information is not supposed to be disorder and messy, instead, it should try to focus on the connection between reality and virtuality. Teaching materials should well reflect children’s life and teaching should not over rely on animation.From the above analysis, it is clear that the appropriate use of animation in children art education is beneficial in children’s recognition development, the improvement of learning efficiency and aesthetic ability, nurturing moral and sentiment, enlightening imagination and creativity, thus gaining more cheerful experience, drawing the conclusion that the animation plays a pivotal and profound role in the all-round and healthy development of children.
