As a fine tradition of China, since the ancient time, including56nations, patriotism makes plenty of historical examples. With varied ethnics, western minority area is one of the vital cradles of china’s five thousand years of civilization. All nations have created a splendid culture and left a rich and varied heritage. The problem that how to explore and develop this resource needs to be addressed. Based on historical materialism. The thesis tries to analyze comprehensively the patriotism of educational resources and provide a proposed practical way to further the operability by theoretical analysis and empirical methods. It is expected to contribute to the national patriotic education. To achieve this goal, the paper will mainly discuss the following aspects of patriotic education resources of ethnic minority areas:the distribution and types, the current status and evaluation, the development and design-use way, the value, the significance, and strategies.Chapter1introduces the theoretical and practical significance of the thesis, the research situation analysis, as well as innovation and research methods.Chapter2begins with the concept of patriotism education and resources, and then presents a whole review on the patriotic education condition resources such as Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Qinghai and Ningxia, etc. The connotation and objectives of Ningxia patriotic educational resources is focused. Meanwhile, the out local distribution, delineation and the features of development are pointed out at last.The third chapter is devoted to combine with the relevant survey date and point out the utilization status. Limited by the local resources and economic level of the ethnic minority areas, the local resource utilization is unsatisfied. So, there are serious problems under-exploited and under-utilized.The Fourth chapter is explored to design the means of patriotism educational resource and utilization, from the effectiveness of history and resource utilization. For historical part, it analyzes the core and derivation of the cultural elements; on the other hand, the effectiveness of history and resource utilization is based on the architecture and garden design, reduction and attraction to focus more people to visit, which play the role of publicity and education patriotism. Next chapter explores the function and value of resource utilization from the ideological and political view. According to the utilization of those resources, it raises the concept of ethnic education and educational practical level, so that it shows the characteristics of the class nature of society and nationality of the ideological and political education. This further reflects the economic, ecological and cultural functions.The last chapter shows that patriotic education resource development should combine "cultural building" strategy with urban and rural construction. This will not only develop national culture and improve the political and cultural identity, but also develop economic characteristics. By strengthening the rural infrastructure construction of cultural facilities, it has altogether three advantages. Firstly, it will repair and maintenance the education base. Secondly, it can rich the spiritual life, and finally develop the economy and solve the social problems. Last but not the least, the key to the new rural construction is to develop UNESCO business. This determines the important role of education. Whether it is a positive education or not, it must be the first choice of educational object.
