| This thesis adopts document-data method, questionnaires, expert interviews,analysis-comparison and mathematical statistics to analyze the present situation ofelective winter physical courses in colleges of Heilongjiang Province. Through amajor survey of12representative colleges and universities, we find out the factorsaffecting current winter teaching situation and the open of snow teaching courses incolleges of Heilongjiang Province and put forward some strategies andimplementation recommendations correspondingly.“National Ordinary Physical Curriculum Education Teaching Guidelines”states clearly: Schools should determine the course content according to students’different circumstances and geographical characteristics, climate, venues and facilities.Heilongjiang Province is located in the north of China. Based on the uniqueadvantages of snow and ice resources owing to the cold weather and long frigorificperiod, the winter physical courses should become an important part of the collegephysical education of Heilongjiang Province.Viewing from the winter sports programs in Heilongjiang Province, almost allset up speed skating, the open rate of ski course is58.3%, and only an institution ofthe Northeast Petroleum University set up a hockey course. The rest of the snowcourses have not been covered by colleges and universities in the HeilongjiangProvince. That how to make students exercise better in the winter, enhance physicalfitness, cultivate a strong will, and how to create various snow sports courses toprovide students with more choices is a question needs be explored and solved byeach physical workers in Heilongjiang Province.By analyzing and organizing information on these surveys, the study makes thefollowing recommendations according to the actual situation:1. The economy is the primary factor constraints the setting up of variouselective winter courses in Heilongjiang Province Universities. In order to solve the economic problems, we should emancipate the mind through multi-channel. Firstly,we can take the path of self-development and self-improvement by the developmentpath of physical economy. Secondly, the students attended the elective courses maybe charged an appropriate fee, or by individual, business or social sponsor and othervarious channels to raise funds. Investment or financing by government are alsoeffective ways to solve the problem.2. The traditional teaching thought restricts the elective courses in HeilongjiangProvince seriously. College curriculum should be reformed according to students’interests to set a variety of winter sports programs for students to choose; the winterteaching should be reformed more deeply, teaching methods and means also should bereformed and advanced teaching methods and means should be adopted, combinedwith the characteristics of the snow sports, fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiativeof students. Make the teaching performance evaluation criterion reformed to make itmore reasonable and humane.3. Through a variety of modes to carry out the snow and ice elective courses,such as club, winter camp, we can promote the carry out of elective snow and icecourses of colleges in Heilongjiang Province. In addition to the normal school hours,it is also a good choice to have such course on weekends and vacation time for thetime is enough, the class duration, and class time can be flexible. Without learningpressure, students can concentrate on the snow and ice activity and experience the funof snow sports.4. School should create conditions to improve the academic level of the PEteachers, to provide teachers with more opportunities to exchange, to build theplatform of theoretical research and organize regular training and business educationto enhance the theory level and professional quality of the PE teachers. Step uppublicity efforts, guide students to participate in winter sports rightly, and stimulatestudents’ interest and motivation to promote the carry out of the college ice and snow... |
