Mu Town Floating Population And Social Integration Research

From the late1980s, with China’s rapid economic development, more and more mobile population into the cities, they are no longer temporarily in the city, but tend to long-term residents and local integration. However, the household registration system, and related education, health, social welfare and social security system, the floating population exclusion outside the urban system, the floating population does not have a public identity. The floating population into the exclusion of the subjective wishes of the urban society and urban system is an objective for this group, in fact, a huge gap. To crack China’s long-standing urban-rural dual structure, to achieve a healthy population urbanization in China, it should allow willing to settle down in the foreign population of urban living and development, and to enable them to eventually integrate into urban society. In addition, give priority to the development of small cities and towns, an urbanization with Chinese characteristics, the floating population of small towns social integration situation, identify problems, the proposed solution, a more practical significance. Starting from this point of view, the small towns in this study, a Muslim town in the floating population is very representative of the in-depth investigation to its floating population of social integration of comprehensive analysis.This paper first introduces the overview of the Muslim town of mobile population of including the scale and structure, employment, income, living and consumption, health and medical care, with a view to an overall grasp of the flow of population status; followed from the community to participate with community identity, social relations network the floating population, floating population and the local population the relationship between the angle measurements in order to examine their social integration status; and then analyze the impact of floating population in the state of social integration factors; for the social integration of the floating population to make their own response.Through the above research, we draw the following conclusions:Mu town floating population by the policy, individual factors, in substance, the employment and the local population difference between the larger of these affected their social integration status, leading to social low degree of integration. Low the reality of social integration for the floating population, respectively, from the government, the floating population aspects of the specific recommendations.
