"Happiness is a sort of situation and life that make people comfortable". Everyone is dreaming of happy life and struggling for it lifetime. With the rapid development of the community and economy, together with rising living standard, people are paying more attention to their own happiness. The PE teachers in colleges are those that organize the PE classes and sport events, who are leading college students to progressing in all around development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetics and labor education. So their qualities, capabilities and levels are closely related to the healthy, constitution and other parts of the students. So their well-being and level of happiness will affect professional morale and seriousness, which also can influence the class qualities, students’constitution and the progresses in other parts.This paper is to analyze the present happiness level of Hubei college PE teachers, on the base of General Well-being Board (GWB) to reflect the general level of their sense of happiness and find out the factors affecting the happiness level. The results are following:1. The level of happiness sense is ordinary, slightly below the national average2. The factor variables with the sense of happiness are gender, age, professional title, educational background, teaching experience, regional factor, marital status, housing, and income. The factors with the sense of happiness:personalities, heredity,self-efficacy, living pressure, professional pressure, health, technical title, marriage, housing, income, working years and age.3. Different viariables has different influence on the teachers’sense of happiness. As for the gender variables, the level of female teachers is higher than that of male teachers; while for regional factors, the level of none-Wuhan’s teachers is higher than that of Wuhan’s teachers. Assistant professor>professor>lecturer>assistant teacher, doctoral students>graduate students>undergraduates. And those who have got married, or own house, or teach professional course show a higher level of happiness than the unmarried teachers, teachers with no house and non-professional teachers respectively.4. Teaching experience, age and income vary directly with the sense of happiness. teachers of20-30working years> teachers of10-20working years>teachers of1-10working years, aged50-60> aged40-50> aged30-40> aged20-30, married>unmarried, teachers with house> teachers without house, major teachers>non-major teachers, teachers with over$60,000annual pay> teachers with under$60,000annual pay.5. The factors which affect the general sense of happines of PE teachers in colleges of Hubei Province contains, professional title, marital status, income, housing age, teaching experience. Among them, title, income and age show a significant positive correlation with the gerenal sense of happiness, with correlation coefficient0.246,0.170,0.226respectively. While marital and housing variables are negatively related to the sense of happiness, correlation coefficient being0.335and0.197.6. The change of internal and external pressure, as well as the change of demographic variables jointly affect the sense of happiness.
