| This paper mainly discusses the transformation of the adult-education poor students, expecting to provide some strategies and suggestions on the cultivating of adult-education students through the author’s study.The problem of poor students is a big problem of the foundation education. For a long time, there are a lot of researches on the basic education and higher education, also the study on the professional high school., but for the researches on the adult-education students are only a few. The author has contacted with a lot of adult-education students, and luckily given them one-year teaching. There are also a lot of "excellent" students among the adult-education students.So the writer thinks it is necessary to study them, and is feasible.In the process of teaching, the author found that those students slowly responded to the knowledge of junior and senior high school. However, when the author put forward some "more difficult" problems, they sometimes had some very clever ideas. These problems put forward were about some elementary mathematical modeling. So the author puts forward a hypothesis:The cause of those students doesn’t want to learn mathematics and hate mathematics is that the math they learn is too "simple".The author tries to implement the research through the teaching experiment and classroom observation.The author thinks that the transformation of the poor students should follow the following strategy conversion: (一)Paying attention to the poor students:Among many poor students the author has contacted with, a lot of them feel inferior. But in the midst of them there are also a lot of outstanding students, they or were admitted to graduate students or found a very good job. In fact concern the poor students; it’s not necessary to ensure that their result will improve how much. But at least make them have the confidence that they can make even beyond the "performance" of the "excellent students". In other words, the author thinks that, not really exist poor students, they just are not good at exam.(二)Select material:Selecting material is choosing good questions. Hilbert had said "good question" has two standards:One is clear and understandable; second is difficult but can be solved. Such as the problem of elementary "mathematical modeling", is very good to meet these criteria. Moreover, selecting material had better to choose the problem happening around us. For example, when the author explained the "hypothesis test", he would take the experience of college student were cheated when they faced products promoting as an example. And some mathematical puzzle, games, etc, they could participate in, and their enthusiasm was very high.(三)The difficulty of the course content:The author thinks that, students are able to "understand" these hard math problems, just won’t "operation" by themselves. So the author intended to increase some difficulty of the problem, but found that a lot of them still can put forward to a good solution.Through the efforts of the author, the adult-education students had changed obviously transformation.The author had carried out review in the students who would take part in the adult-college entrance exam for three months. The author has used this model to carry on the teaching that the students questioned, the author answered, again explained knowledge. Finally, in the adult-college entrance exam of2011year, the average grade and the choiceness of the adult-education class was rising to80.69points and43%from the average grade of64.29points and the choiceness of20%in the simulation test.For the students passed the adult-college entrance exam, the author used the front hypothesis. The teaching mode is that changing part of the teaching content, letting the students to find and to solve problems through the simulation circumstance. In chapter5, the author lists some of the used case. Through these cases, the students’ fear psychology of mathematics were less, make them understand that in the daily life, we always use mathematics.The innovation of this paper:For a long time, the researches on the adult-education students are neglected. The author puts forward a new idea:Explain by using the "hard" problem, make students also have the harvest.Deficiencies of this paper:at present, the research for adult-education students at home and abroad is very few; some theory basis the author referenced is from the research on poor students of the foundation-education. Because of the limited time and ability of the author, there must be many shortcomings. |
