In recent years, along with the sharp economic and social transformation as wellas the more severe employment situation in our country, graduates in a new group--"the NEET, being highly social concern phenomenon."The parentssucker comes fromthe English NEET: which is the abbreviation of "Not in education,employment ortraining". That is, when at young stage, they have no formal work, also do not studyat school, even not accept vocational skills training, just rely on their parents for aliving. As the increasingly violent social competition and the expanding of survivalpressure, the batches of college graduates were relentlessly into "the NEET groups".The rising and spreading of The NEET phenomenon, on the one hand, leading to alarge number of social labor idling, causing the waste of human resources and theblocking of the sustainable development of society; On the other hand also greatlydamaging the university students’ employment confidence, which go against thesound development of the university graduates’ personality, and also advise to theconstruction of a harmonious society. This study basing on the investigation of TheNEET phenomenon among the graduates, analyzes the present situation and the maincharacteristics of the group, and of which influence to the society and the individual,dissects the deep reason of the arising of this group, and explores the effective path ofideological and political education to the group in order to stirring up the concern ofThe NEET phenomenon in the whole society as well as to putting forward thepersonal opinion on how to solve this social problem.The study will analyze five aspects of the NEET phenomenon comprehensivelyas below, seeking an effective approach of ideological and political education to thisgroup.The first part: the theoretical basis and literature support for this paper wereprovided by presenting the problem, clarifying the meaning and summarizing relatedresearch findings at home and abroad.The second part: the concept of NEET, together with related concepts, wasexpounded via comparison, confirming the meaning and character of universitygraduate NEET. The third part: the basic status of the group of university graduate NEET wasanalyzed based on the investigation around Fuzhou, presenting its main effects.The fourth part: the underlying causes of the phenomenon of universitygraduates university graduate NEET were discussed, understanding its impactingfactors from the degree of interaction between internal causes and external causes.The fifth part: the positive guidance and relative approach for the group ofuniversity graduate NEET was explored, understanding its approach choice from thedegree of ideological and political education.
