China’s new round of curriculum reform to promote children’s active learning and active exploration, which aimed at transforming the way of children’s learning. Children are the active explorers, researchers and discoverers, and as well as the knowledge and experience active builders. Since children grow in the process of exploring, the inquiry teaching of how kindergarten teachers to support and guide children;how to stir up children to participate on their own,how to foster children science inquiry spirit and scientific literacy naturally becomes a significant topic. In the practice of teaching,inquiry teaching is considered as a new teaching idea and method which has been attracted much attention by the kindergarten teachers. With the growing development of teaching reform, we have gain some achievements, however, there are still many problems,for example, the current situation about kindergarten inquiry teaching; whether teachers have the concept of inquiry teaching or not;how to guide children in the proper time.The research focus on the problems which exist in inquirying teaching implementation of Chongqing main urban area kindergartens by the methods of inquirying teaching implementation status, multiple utilizating literature, questionnaire, classroom observation and interviews.Thus it is helpfull to analyze the causes of the mentioned problem and to put forward the improvement of the implementation of the kindergarten inquirying teaching countermeasures.Just for the above questions, an attributing analysis among teachers, children, kindergartens and parents is necessary.It is investigated that the implement of kindergarten’s exploring studies exist some problems as follow:The present theory about kindergarten’s exploring studies is not deep enough, lacking of according training and improvement.Self-acknowledgement for kindergarten teacher is not comprehensive during the process of exploring study, failing to get rid of traditional education’s authority and orientation of teacher;The teachers lack of independence in selection of teaching content and teaching design;The teachers pay too much attention to exploring result and practical ability to ignore the children’s affective factors such as attitude and enthusiasm towards exploration in the process of assessment.Finally, this research makes the following recommendations:Kindergarten should build good atmosphere of inquiry, the creation of conditions to explore the teaching and learning activities; Teacher should update teaching consciousness in order to improve the basic competence, and improve the basic capabilities of inquiry teaching; we should build up the educational environment to promote children’s exploring activities by taking good use of the resources.
