| The new physics curriculum of senior school as a new idea of physical education has been promoted come from experimental stage until now in china. Inquiry teaching as an important teaching method will play a major role in this process. No matter understanding its content or grasp its implementation principles, effective implementation of inquiry teaching will put forward higher requirements to education Management, school leaders and physics teachers.Due to its geographic factors,, western rural areas has a big for the level of education development.â‘ Teachers constitute is unreasonable in western rural area, and also their quality is not very good.â‘¡Education facilities are backward, especially at the physics laboratory building, library building and multi-media configuration and so on.â‘¢Public is rather conservative and backward.â‘£Teachers lack of guidance and communication with experts, especially with education experts in those areas. These shortages will enhance difficulty to effective implement for inquiry teaching of high school physics in western rural area.In response to these problems, the author made the following two aspects of research:1. Research on the implementation status quo of senior physics inquiry teaching in western rural area. The survey included the following four aspects, namely, the implementation of senior physics inquiry teaching status of the environment, teaching status of senior physics teachers, status of students learning and evaluation on status of teaching.2. Interview Study on the implementation status quo of senior physics inquiry teaching in western rural area. The subjects of interview were students and teachers. First, interview with students, including the following main issues:the interest and motivation of students to learn physics, understanding inquiry learning for students, the problems and confusion of students in inquiry learning, the situation for students participate in physics inquiry activities. Second, on the physics teacher interview, which include the following issues, namely, the views of teachers with facters that affect the conduct of inquiry teaching, the situation of teachers to understand inquiry teaching content, the instructional psychology and pressure of teachers.By the author of the study, we can easily make out following conclusions:1. Education management failed to create a good environment for implementation of senior physics inquiry teaching, to some extent, It restricted the effectively implementation of senior physics inquiry teaching in western rural area.2. The quality of physics teachers have affected the effectively implementation of senior physics inquiry teaching in western rural area.3. The view of students learning and habit of learning physics have restricted the effectively implementation of senior physics inquiry teaching in western rural area.4. Evaluation mechanism, both of the evaluation of teachers and students do not meet the evaluation requirements of inquiry teaching evaluation, which limiting the effectively implementation of inquiry teaching in the western rural areas.Address those issues, we can proposes the following strategies and recommendations:1. The proposal for Government. On the one hand, the Government should increase funding for education in rural areas of western investment, which can lay the material foundation for effective implementation of senior physics inquiry teaching; the other hand, the Government should actively promote the evaluation system to match the requirements of Inquiry Teaching adapt.2. The proposal for school. School leaders should step up efforts to support the physics inquiry teaching to build confidence for the physics teacher.3. The proposal for physics teachers. First of all, senior physics teachers should enhance the study of the theory of inquiry teaching; Secondly, the physics teacher should strengthen cooperation and exchanges between peers; lastly, the physics teacher should be good to reflect on teaching, especially for exploring the Teaching Practice.4. The proposal for Education experts. They should not only go into the rural areas and guide teaching practice, but also should process rational reflection.5. The proposal for parents. Parents should take the initiative communication with schools and teachers to change their traditional concepts of education, and also they should support their child's exploration activities in all aspects. |
