In terms of secondary vocational school students in Weifang, there are several reasonsfor the lack of accounting majors’ integrity and morality cultivation. Firstly, there is somedeficiency in the secondary vocational educational system. Under the condition of marketeconomy, most secondary vocational schools pay more attention to enrollment than qualitytraining lacking quality standards, focus on students’ professional and operational skillstraining lacking the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality, tolerate students’discreditable behavior repeatedly and deal with those problems inadequately for the drive ofeconomic interest. Individual students lack integrity and morality due to the lower level ofoverall students’ comprehensive quality. Secondly, a number of accounting majors insecondary vocational schools are extremely irresponsible for themselves, paying littleattention to self cultivation. Thirdly, there is the lack of credit evaluation system. Fromprimary schools to secondary vocational schools, there is no quantified assessment ofintegrity performance in the students’ comprehensive evaluation without forming a set ofstudents’ integrity and morality evaluation system. Fourthly, the social integrity is not high.Both the society and schools lack integrity cultivation in addition to families’ ignorance of theimportance of integrity education. The integrity education for accounting majors in secondaryvocational schools is a systematic project. Only all kinds of educational resources areintegrated to form resultant forces of education, can the integrity education for accountingmajors in secondary vocational schools be effected. Therefore, on the basis of secondaryvocational school students’ personality characteristics and the current situation of integrityeducation, improving the integrity education system is the fundamental measure.After analyzing the current situation and causes of lack of integrity and morality, theauthor suggests adopting the following measures which is suitable for accounting majors insecondary vocational schools to cultivate the integrity and morality of accounting. Firstly,according to market demand and cultivation objectives for accounting students in secondaryvocational schools, formulate the implementation plan for cultivating the comprehensivequality of accounting majors in secondary vocational schools, carry out the project of integrityand morality cultivation, and implement the integrity and morality credit managementsystem. Adhering to people-oriented principle, establish the comprehensive quality curriculum system focusing on cultural construction of accounting integrity to integrate thecultivation of accounting integrity and morality with professional knowledge learning, skillstraining, simulation training and internship. Secondly, teachers play the main role of theinstructing and educating in students’ self-cultivation. Thirdly, a reasonable and effectiveintegrity evaluation mechanism should be established to implement the students’comprehensive quality certification system. Fourthly, families, society and schools strive forthe same goal together to form the resultant forces of education.In conclusion, based on the characteristics of the accounting profession, the accountingintegrity education should be conducted, combined with ideological and moral qualityeducation for accounting students at school to cultivate students’ integrity before they go towork. Then new methods and measures should be constantly explored to cultivate theintegrity and morality of accounting majors in secondary vocational schools, laying a solidfoundation for the training of qualified accounting personnel.
