In August,2002, Chinese Ministry of Education has issued a new "national ordinary university physical education curriculum teaching guidelines", and the reform of university physical education unfolded. As a part of college sports, college students’physical education learning evaluation is important for sports teaching. To a great extent, it directly influences the development of university P. E. and actual effect of college students’participate in sports exercise. This study based on this starting point, aims to explore the current part of Beijing university P. E. class learning evaluation of the current situation in order to find problems and deviations, and then guide the practice teaching reform.Through the study of literature as well as interviews, the form of questionnaire to the Beijing in the colleges of part related leaders, and the teachers and students of further investigation and research, the statistical analysis of the data in evaluation body, evaluation content, evaluation method and evaluation result. The four aspects of the conclusions are as follows:1. In the evaluation body:The teacher is still the absolute evaluation body, evaluation of diversification is still on the paper. Most teachers realize the necessity of evaluation of diversification, but the change is not apparent in actual teaching process, the participate of students in the evaluation practice difficult.2. In the evaluation content:Content structure has changed but still not comprehensive, and still lack of the scientific and reasonable authorities. Fail to escape the model which consider the quality in the body, technology assessment standard and skills, technology and other single standard as the only one method.3. In the evaluation method:Under the influence of independent teaching, evaluation method in a lot of colleges and universities increasingly diverse. but the summative evaluation method including the quantification and the standard grades for technology are given priority. Though there are some innovations but it still shows stale drab.4. In the evaluation result:There is a deviation between the motivation of students who choose P. E class and motivation of the realization of the target in the situation. The evaluation feedback result can’t reflect the specific situation of the students who participate in the P. E class.Finally, this study made a theoretical try to establish the university P. E. class learning Meta-evaluation mechanism.
