Nowadays, Moral responsibility has become a hot topic. It is not only an important element in our ethics system but also a significant standard to measure one’s moral consciousness and levels. Thus, it is a realistic problem to strengthen citizens’moral and responsibility education. Especially for the college students, as they are fresh troops to construct the country, and they also bear the glory burden of realizing China’s great revival. So it is very significant to strengthen moral and responsibility education to college students.Presently, with the continual deepening of the reforms and opening to the outside world, moral and responsibility education is continually faced with new problems and requirements under new conditions-and situations. And it is now facing with great tests of the times. Then, how to adapt to new changes as soon as possible, satisfy the needs of social development, realize the innovation of moral and responsibility education, enrich and develop its innovation system of moral and responsibility education are important problems that we should think deeply and carefully and put into practice. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the innovation of college students’moral and responsibility education from the following four parts, based on the realities and directed by the thoughts of seeking truth from the facts and advancing with the times.The first part starts with two social hot topics. It points out the purpose of research and its significance, combs current domestic and international research situation on moral responsibility and its education, summarizes the research thinking and methods of this thesis. Meanwhile, it analyses the deficiencies based on the research of the predecessors and strives to realize innovation and breakthroughs in this study.The second part makes a statement of moral responsibility and its education. Based on the analysis of many scholars’points, this paper explains the connotation of moral responsibility and its education, points out moral responsibility’s three characters, namely pursuing ideal, voluntary and asymmetry. Besides, it also has three functions, like direction, education and evaluation. Then, it analyses the three reasons why current college students should be educated with moral responsibility. Namely it is beneficial to the growth and progress of college students, to improving work of moral education and to the harmonious development of the society.The third part analyses the current situations of college students’moral responsibility and the reasons why there exist so many problems in education. This paper states that college students has positively done their duties for their family, society, others and the nature. Meanwhile, it also selectively analyses some students’moral responsibility deficits including the responsibility for other people, society, their family, the nature and themselves. Further more, it also points out the main reason why some students are lack of moral responsibility is that there exist some problems in our moral and responsibility education. Respectively, they are being lack of the sense of the times and inventiveness to its idea, being lack of advancement and systematicness to "its content, being lack of innovation and effectiveness to its methods of education and the old fashioned and hysteretic education system of moral responsibility.The forth part puts forwards lots of suggestion and methods directing at insufficient education on college students’moral responsibility, which is also the key point of the paper. In this paper, to the idea innovation of moral and responsibility education, it is very important to hold on the ideas of advancing with the times, people-oriented and harmonious development; On aspect of content innovation, it is necessary to give life responsibility education, honor concept education, ecological responsibility education and self-responsibility education; On aspect of method innovation, the methods of discussion, role-playing, reference and network communication should be adopted; On aspect of innovation of education system, it is necessary to perfect its incentive system, strengthen its restriction mechanism and improve its feedback and interaction system; On aspect of innovation of education process, importance shall be attached to the following three points:the first one is to play the roles of school, family and society; the second is to create a good environment for college students’moral education; and the last one is to strengthen the group consciousness of moral responsibility.All in all, being faced with new condition and situation, the education innovation of moral responsibility has time to delay. Workers of ideological and political education should fasten on innovation and try to make great efforts to education idea, content, method, system and process of moral responsibility. By adjusting ways of education in exploring innovation, putting into practice during adjusting, and keeping motivating overall moderate development of students’ moral and responsibility education, then the current situation that college students are lacking of moral responsibility can be better improved. Thus this paper’s theoretical and practice value can be realized.
